The Use of Force by Federal Agents
Join a panel of Pace Haub Law professors for an examination of the constitutional limits on the use of force by ICE and U.S. Border Patrol officers, and whether such actions may violate individual rights under federal law. The program will explore current legal standards, assess available civil and criminal remedies, and consider potential reforms to address gaps in accountability and protection. The discussion will also highlight the role of law in advancing safety, inclusion, and a sense of belonging within our communities.
- University Distinguished Professor Bennett L. Gershman
- Professor Randolph McLaughlin
- Adjunct Professor Debra Cohen
Snacks will be served. This event is an internal, Pace Haub Law student event only. Registration is required.
1 Diversity-Based Learning PD Credit for students who attend in person.
