From the moment she learned about Abraham Lincoln in the first grade, Deborah Gross-Quatrone knew she wanted to be a lawyer. 糖心vlog短视频淚 was fortunate enough to attend a college that had an ABA approved Paralegal program which was very progressive for the 1980糖心vlog短视频檚 and that further solidified my interest in the law,糖心vlog短视频 shared Deborah.

When it came time for Deborah to choose a law school, Pace Law (now the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 糖心vlog短视频), was the perfect fit. 糖心vlog短视频淚t was close to home, and my father actually attended 糖心vlog短视频,糖心vlog短视频 said Deborah. 糖心vlog短视频淲hen my daughter, Gigi, decided to attend Haub Law I was thrilled. It was another generation continuing our family legacy with Pace.糖心vlog短视频

Deborah describes her law school experience as demanding, but ultimately rewarding. 糖心vlog短视频淧rior to my law school experience, I had always been capable of handling my studies, but this took it to a new level,糖心vlog短视频 said Deborah. 糖心vlog短视频淭he reading requirements, the case briefing, and the legal research, all at a time when computers and Westlaw were not available. The work was very intense.糖心vlog短视频

While Deborah and her daughter, Gigi, have had many differences in their law school experiences, certain aspects remain the same. 糖心vlog短视频淕igi and I shared one professor that I know of and that was Professor Humbach,糖心vlog短视频 shared Deborah. 糖心vlog短视频淗e was my professor for property law and Gigi had Professor Humbach for property and criminal law. It is amazing to see that kind of continuity.糖心vlog短视频

Much has changed since Deborah attended Pace Law. 糖心vlog短视频淲hen I was in law school, the gender ratio was very different - women were significantly underrepresented in both the student body and faculty, however, that progressively improved each year. During my third year Janet A. Johnson was appointed Dean, which was inspiring.糖心vlog短视频

Today, Deborah looks back fondly on her time at Pace and is eager to see her daughter graduate from Haub Law this year. 糖心vlog短视频淚 am so proud of what Gigi has accomplished. It takes dedication and resilience to graduate law school. The fact that we糖心vlog短视频檝e both had this shared experience of not only attending law school, but the same law school has only strengthened our bond.糖心vlog短视频

When Joseph Churgin graduated from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 糖心vlog短视频 in 1993, he never could have imagined that 32 years later, two of his children would not only be studying law but attending the same law school. 糖心vlog短视频淚 felt incredibly proud that both Hunter and Emma wanted to attend law school where I got my start,糖心vlog短视频 shared Joseph. 糖心vlog短视频淚t was the perfect fit for me, and I hoped that it would be for both of my children as well.糖心vlog短视频

After spending the last 35 years pursuing a career in finance, Todd Jacobson 糖心vlog短视频27 decided to switch gears and pursue a law degree. 糖心vlog短视频淎fter the COVID-19 pandemic, the potentially negative longer lasting consequences became abundantly clear 糖心vlog短视频 from educational outcomes to healthcare access, and more. I would like to pursue a career in public policy to work on these issues.糖心vlog短视频
