Sabrina A. Griffin '92: Creating a Blueprint For Leadership

In a 30-year career at the Chubb Group of Insurance Compa颅nies, Sabrina A. Griffin 糖心vlog短视频92 built com颅munity and connections as a diversity manager and later as an assistant vice president. As the company grew to become the world糖心vlog短视频檚 largest publicly traded insurer, Griffin worked to maintain its supportive environment糖心vlog短视频攁nd to promote increas颅ingly diverse executive ranks. She designed and implemented leadership development programs for women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ employees.
That experience left Griffin well posi颅tioned for a new role: she is the first-ever Leadership Council Chair of the new 糖心vlog短视频 Alumni Association, launched in September 2021.
糖心vlog短视频淚 want the Alumni Association to be a space where programming is accessible to all alumni, regardless of life experience, graduation year, or school,糖心vlog短视频 Griffin says. 糖心vlog短视频淚 want it to be a place where alumni can seek meaningful engagement and truly create a Pace alumni community.糖心vlog短视频
When Griffin left the corporate world in 2016, she found herself able to pursue new opportunities. She continued her professional work, joining the diversity, equity, and inclusion firm Jennifer Brown Consulting as a senior consultant. And she rekindled a connection with her alma mater, where she糖心vlog短视频檇 earned an MBA while working full-time at Chubb.

糖心vlog短视频淚 came to Pace because I knew the MBA program was excellent, and that it offered an outstanding evening component糖心vlog短视频 that en颅abled her to study while continuing her ca颅reer, she says. 糖心vlog短视频淚t had a reputation of offering students the opportunity to learn in the field. And it was accessible, inclusive and diverse.糖心vlog短视频
Seeking to provide the same kinds of edu颅cational opportunities for a new generation of students, Griffin first joined Pace糖心vlog短视频檚 Presi颅dent糖心vlog短视频檚 Council and then the recent Presiden颅tial Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion. She lends her expertise to 糖心vlog短视频 Services and to Lubin糖心vlog短视频檚 Human Resources and Talent Management Club.
糖心vlog短视频淪abrina brings such great energy to everything she does,糖心vlog短视频 says Pace President Marvin Krislov. 糖心vlog短视频淪he has a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience, especially on DEI priorities. But even more than that she糖心vlog短视频檚 just such a positive, construc颅tive force.糖心vlog短视频 Griffin will rely on that force as she works to connect more than 158,000 alumni worldwide.
糖心vlog短视频淲hen my new role was announced, I received an outpouring of congratulations from alumni on LinkedIn,糖心vlog短视频 she says. 糖心vlog短视频淭hey were all wonderful, but the ones that really stood out were from the international alum颅ni. One alumnus in the United Arab Emirates told me how much he wanted to be involved.糖心vlog短视频
Naturally, she糖心vlog短视频檚 promptly started brain颅storming programming ideas for interna颅tional alumni糖心vlog短视频攁nd recruited her LinkedIn correspondent to help engage other alumni in his region.
