Billion Oyster Project (BOP) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today announced BOPÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s data collection efforts will now be powered by a brand new digital, cloud-based platform that will allow them to accelerate data collection and more effectively manage its efforts to restore and grow oyster beds in and around the New York Harbor area. The projectÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s goal is to scale to one billion oysters by 2035, which will help clarify the water, remove pollutants and restore marine habitats. Danielle Gehrlein ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™21 is a student affairs representative for SOE with a passion for teaching that started when she was just 10 years old. She volunteered with kids that age in Ghana last summer, teaching subjects like English and math.
Pace School of Education student Jamie DelToro ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™19 turns her own development as a mentor and childhood education major into a way of helping her peers reach their full potential.
Alyssa Ortega ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™20 is a Childhood Education major on the Pleasantville Campus who is deeply passionate about teachingÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ”both as an educator, and a peer. ThereÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s one lesson in particular, however, that really changed her perspective.
Rachel Vetterman ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™22 transferred to Pace to pursue a combined degree: a BA in Childhood Education and an MSEd in Special Education. SheÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s passionate about supporting all the students sheÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s worked with, but it was one moment on the job that really changed her perspective.
