The first step in obtaining an F-1 Student Visa is to obtain an I-20 Form. Please follow the following steps to obtain your I-20 Form
- Complete the Financial Affidavit for International Students.
- Obtain official Bank Documentation indicating in U.S. Dollars sufficient funds available for one year of study. *Current Bank Statements showing regular deposits, owner's name, and current balance greater than the tuition and fees associated with your program. *A current letter from a bank on bank letterhead indicating the date, account number, account holder's name, and amount on deposit in U.S. dollars. The letter must include the signature of a bank official.
- If you have not done so already, please send a copy of your current, valid passport/national identity. A photocopy or fax is acceptable.
- If you are currently in the US on a F1 student visa. please provide items 1,2, and 3 as well as a Transfer Recommendation Form completed by you and your international student adviser:
- If you are in the US on a B-1/B-2 visa, you may need to change your status to F-1 before you can begin your program. If you need assistance in reviewing your current legal status in the U.S. and whether you can study, please contact the Office of International Admission at (212) 346-1368 to schedule an appointment.
Return the original Financial Affidavit, official/hard copy bank documents, and the Transfer Recommendation Form (if necessary) to the Office of International Admission on the campus to which you have been accepted; addresses are listed below. Upon receipt of all necessary financial documentation, the Office of International Admission will issue you a Certificate of Eligibility for a student visa (Form I-20) and send it to the mailing address you provided on your application.

Orientation is a crucial part of the admission process. You will receive an email invitation, after you have submitted your deposit. Information sessions will be held on Zoom. Zoom details will be provided via email closer to session date.

Send all required forms to ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓÆµ as soon as possible, or by the date specified by your college or school.
- Please have your health care provider complete the and submit by January 10, 2025 for Spring 2025 and August 1, 2026 for Fall 2026.
- Students enrolling in the College of Health Professions may have additional forms to complete. Use the menu to the left (or above, on a mobile device) to view requirements for your program.

All students are required by Pace to have health insurance. Please visit the Pace Health Insurance website to either apply for Pace's health plan or, if you have your own insurance, opt out of Pace's health plan by the deadline. Please note: rates and the waiver to opt out will be available after February 9 for Spring 2025 and June 1 for Fall 2026.
