The Land Use Law Center, in partnership with NYSERDA and the regional planning districts, is hosting a free three-session land use retreat for the Capital and Mohawk Valley Regions. This program focuses on balancing clean energy development with the protection of natural and agricultural resources.

- The Land Use System: Navigating local vs. state authority.
- Regulatory Techniques: Tools to manage clean energy growth responsibly.
- Community Engagement: Building consensus with diverse local audiences.

Participant Benefits
- Credits: Satisfies training requirements for local board members; CLE credits available for attorneys (CM credits for planners pending).

Reframing Affordability: Creating a More Inclusive Affordable Housing Agenda
The Summit will bring together elected officials, housing and community development leaders, financial lenders, business professionals, activists and others to identify and work toward affordable housing solutions. Topics will include panels on municipal leadership in the disposition of municipal lands for affordable housing, SEQRA reform and its impact on housing, and creation of diverse housing from public housing to the missing middle. The Summit will invite us all to imagine how we build a housing future for all.
