A 2010 Haub Law alumnus, the Honorable Joseph A. Marutollo was appointed as a United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York on September 25, 2023. Previously, he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, serving as Chief of the Civil Division. Judge Marutollo also serves as an adjunct professor at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ����vlog����Ƶ. We sat down with him to chat about his experience at Haub Law, on the bench, and beyond.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ����vlog����Ƶ is pleased to announce that distinguished alumnus New York City Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will deliver the Law School����vlog����Ƶ�s commencement address at its 47th Commencement Ceremony, to be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens on May 20. Commissioner Tucker will also receive the Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, the highest honor conferred by the Law School, recognizing his lifelong contributions to public service, public safety, and the legal profession.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ����vlog����Ƶ hosted its 30th Annual Law Leadership Dinner at the Westchester Country Club on Thursday, March 28, 2025, celebrating alumni and friends of the Law School whose achievements and support advance the mission of legal education and enrich the broader legal community.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ����vlog����Ƶ����vlog����Ƶ�s Black Law Students Association Mock Trial Advocacy Team finished strong in the prestigious 57th Annual Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition. After months of dedicated preparation, the team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for the Competition, ultimately placing fourth in the nation based on preliminary scores, which propelled them to the competition's quarterfinals where the team finished in the top eight among over twenty competing schools.
