Global Innovation in Action
At The Front Yard, we believe students are not only the leaders of tomorrowÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓÆµ”they are the innovators of today. This spring, we are launching a series of high-impact events designed to spark creativity, accelerate entrepreneurship, and address some of the worldÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓÆµ™s most pressing challenges. From global innovation sprints to climate action initiatives, these programs empower students to build, pitch, and lead meaningful change.
TETR Global Innovation Sprint 2026
The series begins with the TETR Global Innovation Sprint 2026, hosted in partnership with The Front Yard. The event brings together student teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where they develop solutions with global impact under time constraints.
Two student-led startups from The Front Yard earned top recognition, securing
1st place ($1,500) and 2nd place ($500). The top three teams, including the winners, will advance to the regional competition in early summer, where they will compete for a $5,000 grand prize.
Project Planet USA Awards Ceremony
Marking the third year of partnership with Project Planet USA, this ceremony celebrates student innovation in sustainability and global impact.
Over the past three years, The Front Yard has awarded $90,000 in prizes, and this year five outstanding students received $6,000 for their contributions. Winners include Michael Solis (Lubin), Olivia Wroblewska (Lubin), Emilia Barsotti (Dyson), Lizi Imedashvili (Seidenberg), and Pal Pankajkumar Patel (Seidenberg).
The event highlights how student creativity is translating into meaningful, real-world environmental solutions.
International Innovation Day Summit
The spring series concludes with the International Innovation Day Summit, a global gathering of students, innovators, and industry leaders.
Through keynote presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, participants explore emerging trends in entrepreneurship, technology, and sustainability. The summit highlights student-led projects with global relevance and encourages cross-border collaboration and innovation.
