Adjunct Faculty Scholarship Presentation Fund

Applications are now being accepted for the new Academic Year 2026ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ“2027!

ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ and the UAFP are pleased to announce the Adjunct Faculty Scholarship Presentation Fund, which provides funding for eligible UAFP adjunct faculty who present papers or chair panels at national conferences in their disciplines. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Member of the UAFP: You must be a current UAFP member in good standing.
  • Active Conference Participant: You must be an active conference participant partaking in such roles as Presenter, Chair, Panelist, Organizer and/or Steering Committee Member, or an equivalent in your respective field and/or discipline.
  • Conference Dates: Your application must be submitted at least 30-days from the date you are seeking approval ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ“ no exceptions. No applications will be considered for conference requests that have already occurred.
  • ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ Affiliation: You must provide evidence that you are participating exclusively with your ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ affiliation (e.g., the conference program indicating that your affiliation is with ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ only). These materials should be submitted as part of your application.
  • One Conference Per Year: You can only submit one participatory conference request per fiscal year (July 1ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ“June 30).

Key Details

  • Participants can be awarded up to $3,000 per fiscal year (for conference travel from July 1, 2026ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ“June 30, 2027), in accordance with ÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵÌÇÐÄvlog¶ÌÊÓƵ™s current Expense Reimbursement Policy Guidelines (PDF).
  • Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, up to a maximum annual funding pool of $25,000, until the yearly amount is fully spent.
